Merseyside giants Liverpool have been backed for a win over Italian Serie A giants AC Milan by one of their strikers. Michael Owen spent several years in the Liverpool first team having come through the club’s academy. Owen was a key player for the Reds throughout his time at the club.
Owen predicted the outcome of the Champions League game between hosts Liverpool and AC Milan at Anfieldon Wednesday night on his Bet Victor blog. There are currently a lot of indications pointing to the fact that Liverpool transfer target Kylian Mbappé is willing to run down his contract at Paris Saint-Germain in a bid to leave the French Ligue 1 giants next summer. The France international attacker has reportedly made it clear that he will not be signing a new contract extension at the club and wants to leave when the time is due. With his current contract set to expire in the summer of 2022, his current stance has alerted his potential suitors, including Liverpool, about making a move for him in the coming days with the summer transfer window still open for business.
However, it is widely believed that the former AS Monaco star is keen to move to Spain and sign for the Spanish La Liga giants Real who have also been courting him for a couple of months now. Madrid are believed to be his favorite destination and although neither Madrid President Florentino Perez nor Paris Saint-Germain chief Nasser has revealed anything about the current situation, the belief is that if the move does not happen this summer, then it will take place in the next one.
