There are currently a lot of indications pointing to the fact that Liverpool transfer target Kylian Mbappé is willing to run down his contract at Paris Saint-Germain in a bid to leave the French Ligue 1 giants next summer. The France international attacker has reportedly made it clear that he will not be signing a new contract extension at the club and wants to leave when the time is due. With his current contract set to expire in the summer of 2022, his current stance has alerted his potential suitors, including Liverpool, about making a move for him in the coming days with the summer transfer window still open for business.

Paris Saint-Germain have insisted that they will uphold their stance of not wanting to sell him this summer but that could also be dangerous as they will be under the risk of losing him for free next summer. Mbappé is currently valued at around £160 million but that figure could drop to as little as £0 if the French club continue to insist that they won’t sell him this window.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been asked about his side’s interest in Mbappé a couple of times before but he has refused to let anything out, insisting that he would rather not talk about players signed under contracts with other clubs.
