Scotland international captain Andy Robertson will miss the next three Liverpool games after he was sent off against North London outfit Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League at the weekend. His red card ensured that Robertson will miss the next three Liverpool games in all competitions.
Robertson scored the second Liverpool goal in the 69th minute and he went from hero to villain within eight minutes when he was sent off. By the time of his red card, Spurs had drawn level through Heung-Min Son in the 74th minute mainly due to the error on the path of Alisson Becker.
With his red card against Spurs, Robertson will now miss two Leicester City games and the Leeds United clash in the Premier League. The Scottish defender won’t be in the Liverpool squad when they take on Leicester City in the Carabao Cup quarterfinals. Robertson will also miss out on the Liverpool squad for the Leeds United game on Boxing Day. He will also miss the Leicester City game in the Premier League next week.
